Leadership may differ from person to person having special qualities and motivational needs in time of need for keeping up the team spirit and finishing the job done with success.(“Leadership styles are changing, and you should too”, 2017)

In this blog i will be sharing on what it takes to be a leader either it is emotional driven or character driven we cannot deny that both play an important role in leaders behavioral stages. To simplify further an leader is a person making tougher descriptions and simplification it by an motivational speech to its co workers, Taking risk is nit the only thing a leader must know the amount of analysis the leader must for the project to be proceed are have as much importance as the reputation and handwork of the leader.

One of the best strategy that is oftnely suggested by leaders for time management issues is the 20/80 rule where 20% of the group will be responsible for 80% of the group’s success or in other words Find the top 20% in your group of network – spend 80% of your time with them.

Interview techniques

There are many types of interview techniques that are going to be assessed depending on the type of job anyone is willing to apply. The best method would be for higher position jobs the more time consuming and more detailed answers will be assessed, whereas on an ordinary job simple meeting either by phone or face to face questioning are required to happen.

In this blog I chose this topic because of reasons how people can score best when it comes to an interview for a job. There is always room for improvement, from riddled questions to portfolio presentation and more. The main reasons why industries are having an interview for selecting the perfect candidate are they capable to handle the job, are they a team worker and are they suitable at leading this project.

By doing so questions can be unorthodox to the candidates as their answers will judge what kind of personality they are having behind the curtains. The resource that the interviewee re going to achieve are the persona background experience, work history ad etc.(“These 10 basic rules will help you prepare for your next interview and drive off any jitters.”, 2017)

Causing such time and human resource for finding the suitable candidate can be an important cause in saving a lot of money from damaging the company’s income and reputation. By keeping the standards high and expecting high qualified people to be accepted the company can expect less of default problems regarding the above problems and more. (“How to Answer the 31 Most Common Interview Questions”, 2017)

For an artist perspective the main important arsenal that are required for an interview are having good portfolio to show and work experience that contributed for creative media.

Copy rights and contracts

In the world of plagiarism keeping personal artwork is an important source of right in eyes of every artist. In order to avoid such problems, the project or the artwork are kept as a trade mark and patent.

In this blog I will be sharing information and ethics on how copyright impacts the rules and regulation of securing the personal work. In simple words copyright is an incentive to create new work and protect original work. Main people who own the copyright may differ from project to project, few of the owners are the creators, producers, recorders, publishers, broadcasters and even freelancers if legally specified. Not to mention employees that they have no rights of ownership and only finish the work hence they are paid for it.(“Copyright registration in UAE within 10 days only!”, 2017)

How does copyright protect? It also depends on what kind of work the person promotes but in general it protects from reproduction, sharing, performing, adapting the work by other people aside from the owners of copyright mentioned above.(“Horwath Mak Trademark International Trademark & Patent Attorneys”, 2017)

Following the rights and regulation the artist must put a trademark, phrase, symbol that represents a product or brand in their projects and art to warn its audiences about the copyright regulations. Although many of the artists have a large brand and creative business that it stands a high number of workers. In that case contracts may be advisable for a way to ensure that all team members or employees know what are their capabilities and duties within the project, it also act as a legally binding document.

Fan Collaboration

Following the previous blog about how fans can play an important role in anyone’s career especially on artists varying different stages where fans can be aid both financially and socially.

In this blog artists must take consider that fan collaboration can be subdivided into five different stages first on fan marketing the fans help you to promote by sharing the art projects among themselves and even send to new people. The next asset that brings on the table is crowdfunding, for example if the artist provides information to public that the artist is capable to make the project or art and is in need of financial aid from audiences to proceed the pipeline and finish then send it to them. Many websites such as Kickstarter and patreon are available for artists to show their work and get funded.(“Patreon”, 2017)

Other preferences such as fan approval and fan response they both share same objective where they like to have the feeling of ownership of the outcome example peter Jackson on Lord of the Rings.(Jackson, 2017)

And finally Co production can be very convenient in keeping fan markets alive by getting the fans involved such as assets and content creation, communicate production restriction and more.

And the final note on starting from scratch, the artist must be aware if the contets wouldn’t disrespect the audiences in any way possible. It can be challenging all the time to keep the pace of promoting an art where everyone likes or dislikes, in the end fan power has a huge role in creative media.

Social medias impact on peoples career

Social Media is user friendly when sharing news is involved, it varies from new arts to promote to new gaming software being introduced. In this blog I will be sharing how an individual artist can use social media to peoples advantage .

Initially the first step towards picking the right suitable platform is an big step because it can change, create or target certain group of audiences. For an example Linkedin platform is used by people having audiences in search of formal format whereas Instagram is used by artists sharing their work to a large group of people with simple results , mostly younger generation.

After choosing the right platform creating an account that holds the users information, it can vary from CV to projects and even accomplishments. It needs to be active and consistent enough to attract more followers in order to promote, by sending new artwork projects at least twice a week. Having an professional contexts on the portfolio can be helpful  in job reputation and fan approval. Using the brand can boost promoting the persons work especially in creative designs also sharing and influencing other projects by other people can also help.

Having trouble finding what the targeted fans want can be a hassle in order to know what they want the artist for an example have to interact and connect with its fans to know the market of the business.

In final note creating an portfolio on different social medias can also guide the artist on the number of followers and how the industry have evolved.

The Pre production

Production Pipeline 2: Treasure Chest

As soon as one of my chest was chosen, I started modelling it as fast as possible to design the surroundings. Choosing an old vintage chest with wooden textures and rusty iron supports. The video of the chest during WW2 gave me an great reference of how to add the design in my work. Metaldetecting in The Netherlands (2016, January 15).

UV Mapping

The most crucial step in texturing is the UV mapping because it separates the polygons as the project wishes to be designed then adding textures, two of my examples that I have put in my work. With the help of an UVW spacing  we can fit the textures within the safe zone to prevent further hassle. Brinck, W.

SCENE

(2016). to give the finishing touches.

Production Pipeline 1: Treasure chest

Designing the chest and modelling it would be the big first step in the production pipeline, not only helping my 3D modelling but time management for an better assignment that is going to be given to us later semester. Before starting drawing concept artwork of chests to give many options in choosing the final decision.

The beginning stage

Thinking about chests I have always tried to imagine an pirate theme helping with the modelling and designing using different types of franchises concept arts to deference from one such as disneys pirates of carabien.Treasure of Cortés. (2016).

Part two: The importance of Lightning, rendering and Composition in 3DS MAX.

Lightning

Lightning is the most important part of the pipeline, it is a family of VFX effects.Adding various palettes of shades and shades to the image making it realistic . The process will capture more quality in lifelike scenes when rendering.

The main types that contribute  are key, fill and back lights the following types of spotlight vary in the usage of the pipeline. Many types of spotlight such as:

  • Target Spotlight: In this mode the light focuses on the movable object being selected.
  • Free Spot: The light doesn’t have an target object creating easier use for many spotlights not cramming the page.
  • Omni Lights: spreading the lightning in one direction from a single source.filling the full scenery saving time for the animators to proceed next step.
  • Target Direction light: an parallel ray of light from one source, by adjusting the position or the rotation can be the source of the light in the scenery for example sunlight in an environmental model. Help. (2016, March ).

maxresdefault.jpg3dargondesign (2012, March 27).

Rendering

Rendering is a process of adding shades, colors and lamination to a 2D or 3D wire frame to crate realism on the screen.2016. (2009, October ). Rendering details full effect of the scene and is different from the normal process, in complex animations rendering can create an huge impact in each pixel in each frame to give great outcome. Thus if not satisfied with timing the quality of rendering can be reduces to result in faster process. Sanders, A.-L. (2015, August 28).

Composition

Before making the production it is very important to select the best shot or the best place for the camera to show the story on at a time to avoid mistakes costing time spent on an wrong place. The better the shot selection the better the story, applying better storytelling to the audiences. There is always time to upgrade or even the idea of changing the shot to fill the obvious  missing gaps. Garvin Cook (2015, January 28).
